WOBURN, MA — Skyworks Solutions has announced the SKY13309-370 LF, a single pole three throw (SP3T) antenna switch for the 2.4- to 2.5-GHz band. The low loss, high isolation, high linearity, small size, and low-cost features make this switch ideal for wireless local area network (WLAN), Bluetooth® systems, and other applications including analog and digital mobile television in emerging markets, wireless headsets, and receiver chain of phones.
This pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT) GaAs integrated circuit switch operates up to the 3 GHz frequency range. Switching between the antenna and transmit/receive (Tx/Rx) ports is accomplished with three control voltages. The device features excellent linearity performance with P1db of 29 dBm, high isolation of 25 dB at 2.5 GHz and a low insertion loss of 0.5 dB at 2.5 GHz.
The switch is packaged in a lead-free and restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliant, 2- x 2- x 0.6-mm MLP-8 plastic package. Samples are available.
