RF Engines Limited (RFEL) has set what it believes to be an unprecedented performance benchmark for commercially available Pipeline Fast Fourier Transform (PFFT) cores on FPGA. The HyperSpeed™ Plus cores have been proven to process complex data streams in continuous real-time at data rates in excess of 52 Giga samples per second for a 2048 point FFT implemented on a Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA device. The cores are the result of further optimization of RFEL's well established 'HyperSpeed' range of PFFT cores.
ready to be integrated into a customer’s own IP, or as part of an integrated design solution from RFEL. In both cases the cores are supplied with both VHDL and Matlab models and associated test environments.
