Designing RFID tags using direct antenna matching
Cory Edelman and Murthy Upmaka, Agilent EEsof EDA
In radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, the interaction between the reader and the tag is of great interest to the system designer. This paper describes the design challenges involved in these systems, and focuses on the use of integrated EDA tools to optimally address these challenges.

UHF techniques for lumped constant circulators
J Helszajn, Heriot-Watt University
Engineering data is presented for the construction of UHF circulators. The techniques described are appropriate in the frequency bands in the range 100 - 1000MHz. Circulator construction at these frequencies is based on lumped element networks. The construction of wide band circulators having Chebychev characteristics is also described and experimental results are given.
