Rohde & Schwarz and Analog Devices boost long term collaboration

June 12, 2017 // By Jean-Pierre Joosting
Analog Devices (ADI) and Rohde & Schwarz have signed a new contract to maintain their mutually beneficial and productive collaboration over the long term.

The agreement is based on the new Rohde & Schwarz supplier management program that uses a more transparent process for evaluating suppliers, and which aims to systematically leverage the synergy potential resulting from close collaboration.

ADI has been a key Rohde & Schwarz components supplier for many years. As a strategic partner, ADI is involved very early in product development processes and is regularly provided with information in the form of roadmaps. In return, Rohde & Schwarz receives insight into up-and-coming component generations and can plan accordingly.

The contract was finalised in February at Analog Devices, in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Cross-functional teams from both companies were present, as well as ADI’s Chief Executive Officer, Vincent Roche and Dr. Marc Sesterhenn, Executive Vice President Production and Materials Management at Rohde & Schwarz and Member of the Executive Board.

The contract is being implemented worldwide.
