Global Certification Forum and TTA sign MOU for IoT certification
Global Certification Forum (GCF) and Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at MWC19 in Barcelona that formalises a collaboration on the global certification initiative of Internet of Things (IoT) standards body oneM2M.

oneM2M is a global organisation which creates technical specifications, common use cases and architectural principles to ensure that machine-to-machine communications can operate effectively on a worldwide scale. The oneM2M architecture is based on a common M2M service layer, which can be readily embedded within vendors’ hardware and software systems, ensuring interoperability between the myriad of IoT devices in the field and M2M application servers worldwide.

“GCF’s work with TTA highlights the growing global momentum for tested interoperability in IoT devices and applications,” said Patrick Van de Wille, Marcom Chair at oneM2M.

A leader in global standards and certification services, TTA has been the at the fore of oneM2M certification since 2014 and is currently the official oneM2M testing and certification organisation.
